Our pool provides ample room for sunbathing, swimming, playing or just relaxing.

Two spacious barbecue areas, a large game room, a garden area with a small playground, and a steam sauna, along with the pool area, provide plenty of diversions between excursions.

Each room has a small varanda (porch or balcony) overlooking the pool with a hammock and patio furniture. Perfect for an afternoon nap.

Complementary breakfast is served daily from 8:00 to 10:00am. A variety of snacks and drinks are also available for purchase throughout the day.

The garden offers a play area for children, a game room, and a second barbecue area, as well as a variety of plants.

All of the rooms are spacious with private bathroom, completely equipped kitchen, and a patio or balcony overlooking the pool area.

Pedra do Elefante (Elephant Rock), locally famous for its resemblance to the head of an elephant, marks the Western boundary of the beaches of Itaipuaçu and offers challenging hikes with spectacular views.

Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) looks out over Rio de Janeiro and the Guanabara Bay from Morro do Corcovado (Hunchback Mountain).

A Cidade Maravilhosa (The Marvelous City), Rio de Janeiro is easily one of the most beautiful cities in the world and offers countless diversions. But the surrounding State of Rio de Janeiro offers countless more, plus the chance to catch a glimpse of the daily life of Brazilians living outside the urban environment.

The city of Niterói, located just across the Guanabara Bay from downtown Rio, also has a lot to offer, including the striking Museu de Arte Contemporânea (Museum of Contemporary Art).

The bondes (streetcars) which leave from downtown Rio near Largo da Carioca (Carioca Square) provide easy access to the picturesque Santa Teresa neighborhood, including the intriguing Parque das Ruínas (Ruins Park) with its breathtaking views and the neighboring Museu da Chácara do Céu (Museum of the Small Farm in the Sky) which, despite its name, is a lovely old mansion filled with a wide-ranging collection of art and surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Created by the Prince Regent of Portugal, the future Dom João VI, in 1808, the Jardim Botânico (Botanical Garden) displays over 6000 species of plants spread over more than 320 acres divided about equally between formal gardens and mata atlântica, the native coastal tropical forest. A large number of bird species can be spotted here, as well as butterflies and other insects, and some monkeys and other small animals.

The cleaner and, usually, less crowded beaches of Cabo Frio, Búzios, and many other towns lay just east of the city of Rio in the Região dos Lagos (Lakes Region) of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
